Bankruptcy
We represent a diverse group of creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy.
This includes:
- Representing secured, partially secured, and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 cases;
- Representing court appointed Trustees;
- Representing creditor committees;
- Representing creditors in non-dischargeability litigation, stay relief, and other contested matters;
- Representing landlords, leasing companies, and other parties in the assumption or rejection of executory contracts;
- Defending creditors in preference and other avoidance actions;
- Negotiating cash collateral orders, adequate protection orders, and reaffirmation agreements;
- Attending Section 341 meetings of creditors;
- Objecting to discharge in Chapter 7 cases, objecting to confirmation of both Chapter 11 cases and Chapter 13 cases;
- Representing purchasers in Chapter 11 or Chapter 7 cases; and
- Advising banks, leasing companies, and other secured lenders in all aspects of dealing with insolvent companies, either within or without a bankruptcy case.
